Embark on a profound spiritual and sacred journey along the ancient Inca Trail (Qhapaq Ñan), where you will connect deeply with the rhythms of life, the cosmos, and your own inner being. This transformative 5-day experience invites you to purify your spirit, explore ancient Inca cities, sacred altars, mountain paths, and experience the powerful energies of Andean medicines. Immerse yourself in the culture, music, and wisdom of the Andes as you walk the sacred lands that once connected the great Inca empire.
In the heart of the ancient Inca capital, Qosqo (Cusco), you will learn, grow, and evolve through sacred rituals, meditations, and spiritual practices, supported by experienced Andean masters. These days will be filled with deep connection, healing, adventure, and self-discovery as you align with the ancient energies of the Earth, Pachamama, the Apus (mountain spirits), and the spiritual beings that inhabit this sacred land.
Upon your arrival at Cusco airport, you will be warmly greeted by a representative of WillkapachaExperience. After a traditional Andean welcome and a soothing coca or muña tea to aid in acclimatization, you’ll be transported to your hotel to begin your journey of transformation.
Itinerario
Day 1: Cusco – Piscacucho (Km 82) – Patallaqta (A/C)
We begin our journey with breakfast on the way to Ollantaytambo, where we offer a prayer to Pachamama and the Apus, asking for permission to connect deeply with nature. After reaching Km 82, we start the Inca Trail, walking along the peaceful Willkamayu River.
Upon arriving at Patallaqta, we have lunch and then explore Inca cosmology, learning about the sacred connection between the Andean people, nature, and the cosmos. We visit the Inca temple, honor the ancestors, and end the day with dinner and rest.

Day 2: Patallaqta – Wayllabamba – Llulluchapata (B/L/D/C)
We rise with the peaceful melody of the Mayu (river) and offer a coca salute to Father Sun. After a fortifying breakfast, we begin our ascent along Yuraq Mayo (White River), deepening our understanding of Inca cosmology and connecting with Yakumama (Mother Water) through spirit-to-spirit interaction.
As we walk, we practice walking meditation, aligning our steps with the rhythm of the earth. After a rest and an organic lunch in Wayllabamba, we continue the climb, greeting orchids and the Apus along the way. We reach Llulluchapata, where we set up camp, enjoy dinner, and rest under the stars.

Day 3: Llulluchapata – Phuyupatamarka (B/L/D)
We begin the day by welcoming Father Sun and Pachamama, offering gratitude for another beautiful day. After a hearty breakfast, we begin our ascent to the highest pass of the trail at 4200 meters above sea level. At this sacred spot, we perform a gratitude offering to the ancestors and the spirits of the land, honoring the journey so far.
After the offering, we descend gently, then ascend softly to Runkurakay, where we stop for a brief meditation to connect with the energy of the place. Continuing, we arrive at the Inca temple of Sayacmarka and leave a Kintu offering, before enjoying a nourishing lunch at Chaki ccocha. After a rest, we continue our journey towards the next camp at Phuyupatamarka, nestled under a star-filled sky. Our Andean medicine accompanies us through the night as we rest in the tranquility of this sacred space.

Day 4: Phuyupatamarca – Machu Picchu – Aguas Calientes (B/L/D)
A day filled with joy and reverence as we wake up in the embrace of the Apus and Pachamama, receiving Father Sun with open hearts. After a plant medicine breakfast, we begin our descent, stopping at the sacred Inca temple and taking time to honor the energy of each place. Moving slowly, we reach Inti Pata, an ancient Inca viewpoint overlooking the Sacred Valley, where we offer gratitude and connect deeper to the land.
Lunch awaits us at Wiñayhuayna, a sacred space for Inca meditation, where we take time to prepare our spirit, mind, and body before entering Machu Picchu. We continue our journey towards the Sun Gate, where we stand in awe of the Crystal City, feeling its profound energy. This sacred space invites us to connect with the ancient spirits of the land, offering a moment to greet the sacred site with Ñapaykuy (heartfelt greeting). After spending time in this powerful place, we descend to Machu Picchu, where we experience its harmonious energy, enjoying the sunset and the connection to the cosmos.
As the day comes to a close, we leave Machu Picchu and board the bus to Aguas Calientes. Optional dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 5: Machu Picchu – Connecting with the Energy of the Inca City

Early Morning:

After breakfast, board the bus to Machu Picchu, arriving early to catch the sunrise over the Inca citadel. If weather permits, Begin your journey with an introduction to the history and spiritual significance of Machu Picchu, followed by a simple ceremony or offering to Pachamama and the spirits of the land.
- Sacred Meditation with Crystal Ceremony
• As you explore the sacred energy of Machu Picchu, you’ll engage in a meditation practice enhanced by the use of crystals. These crystals will amplify your intentions and connect you to the ancient vibrations of the cristal temple,Pachamama and the cosmos. Pause at sacred spots and allow the crystals to deepen your connection to the land’s spiritual energy. In stillness, reflect on your journey and integrate the wisdom of the site, allowing clarity, healing, and peace to flow through you.Closing Ceremony & Return
• Sacred Farewell Ceremony: Before leaving, close the ceremony, with offering gratitude and personal prayers to cristal temple of Machupicchu and Pachamama.
• Return to Aguas Calientes: After the ceremony, take the bus back to Aguas Calientes, where you’ll have some free time for lunch or to explore the town.
• Evening Journey to Cusco: Board the train to Ollantaytambo, then transfer to the bus for a scenic drive back to Cusco, concluding your spiritual journey at Machu Picchu.

ADDITIONAL ITEMS FOR YOUR DUFFEL BAGS:
Incase you need we provide a duffel bag in which you can pack any items that you won’t need to keep with you during the day. Our horses will carry this bag for you throughout the hike. Please note this bag should weigh a maximum of 8 kg including the weight of your sleeping bag and air mattress (if you bring/rent one). When rented from us these two items weigh approximately 3.5 kg. During the Trek you will travel through different temperatures as you climb/descend, it can also be cold at night when at the campsite. Therefore layers work best!
