Embark on a sacred and transformative journey, walking alongside the mighty Apu Ausangate, one of the principal guardians of Cusco and a revered peak rising above 6,385 meters (20,945 feet). This journey will allow you to reactivate and reconnect with your energetic centers (ñawis), awakening a deeper sense of being.

As you walk through the sacred landscapes, alongside the Mama Cochas (mother lagoons), you will receive new seeds of light that will ignite a fresh awareness within your soul, bringing you closer to a life filled with love, peace, and clarity. This experience invites you to open your heart, sharing in the sacred knowledge, purification, and healing energies offered by the powerful guardians of the land.

Day 1: Cusco – Ocongate – Pacchanta

  • 5:00 AM: Pick-up from your hotel in Cusco. We begin our journey with the presence of Pachamama (Mother Earth) and Tayta Inti (Father Sun), as we travel through stunning landscapes, with brief stops along the way.

  • Arrival at Pacchanta: We will reach the community of Pacchanta, where we will respectfully ask for permission to enter the sacred land.

  • Breakfast: Enjoy a strengthening breakfast, infused with the energy of Apu Ausangate, the sacred glacier.

  • Sacred Coca Leaf Ceremony: After breakfast, we prepare for the journey ahead with a coca leaf ceremony to connect with the land and Apu Ausangate, and gain guidance for our journey.

  • Hike Begins: With our backpacks ready and spirits aligned, we begin our walk towards Mama Ccochas (the Sacred Lagoons) and Apu Ausangate. Along the way, we perform a sacred greeting to the ancestors.

  • Afternoon Instruction: Upon arrival, we set up our tents and enjoy a group lunch. The afternoon is dedicated to spiritual instruction, teachings, and practice sessions.

  • Dinner & Camp: We close the day with a communal dinner and settle into our tents for the night.


Day 2: Pacchanta – Apu Ausangate – Otorongo Lagoon

  • Early Morning: Receive the blessings of Tayta Inti with an early morning greeting to Father Sun.

  • Breakfast: After a nourishing breakfast, we will journey into the sacred altar of Apu Ausangate.

  • Meditation & Water Purification: We visit the Otorongo Lagoon for water purification, followed by a meditation session in this sacred space.

  • Teachings & Healing: The day is filled with teachings about the life of the ancestors, healing practices, and connection with the mountains and the waters.

  • Offering to Mama Coca and Gratitude: We offer our gratitude to Mama Coca for guidance and strength.

  • Lunch: Enjoy a sacred meal together near Apu Ausangate.

  • Afternoon Inka Meditation Practice: Participate in the ancient Hamutay meditation practice, deepening your connection to the Andean spiritual path.

  • Camping: Set up camp for the night and enjoy a peaceful evening under the stars.


Day 3: Qonyakuy (Offering Ceremony)

  • Sacred Morning: Begin the day with a sacred greeting to Tayta Inti (Father Sun) and an offering of gratitude for another day with Apu Ausangate.

  • Offering Ceremony: Today, we focus on learning and performing the Qonyakuy ceremony, the principal offering to Pachamama and the Apus. This includes the powerful Haywarikuy ceremony (Despacho) to elevate our consciousness and strengthen our intentions.

  • Opening of the Andean Spiritual Path: Begin your Andean spiritual journey (Paccos) by connecting with your sacred role as a rightful son or daughter of Pachamama.

  • Lunch: Strengthening lunch together, sharing our experiences and intentions.

  • Return to Pacchanta: In the afternoon, we pack our belongings slowly, and begin our descent back to the community of Pacchanta.

  • Medicinal Hot Springs: Unwind and heal in the medicinal hot springs of Pacchanta.

  • Dinner & Camp: Enjoy your last night in the mountains with a final communal dinner and an overnight stay in camp.


Day 4: Apacheta Ceremony (Cosmic Connection Bridge)

  • Morning Ritual: Start the day with a sacred greeting to Tayta Inti (Father Sun), offering thanks and appreciation for the entire journey.

  • Apacheta Ceremony: Participate in the final Apacheta ceremony, which will help you strengthen your energy and close the journey with a deeper connection to the cosmos.

  • Lunch: Enjoy a final lunch in this sacred space, sharing reflections and gratitude.

  • Return to Cusco: After the ceremony, we begin our journey back to Cusco. We bid farewell to Apu Ausangate, with the words “Tupanachiscama Tayta Apu Ausangate” — “Until we meet again, Father Apu Ausangate”.

  • Arrival in Cusco: We return to Cusco, where you can reflect on the transformative experiences of the journey.
